Other reasons can not get connection:

1-Distance too far (>100meters) between the Led cross and the computer

2-Too many walls or houses obstacles

3-Even Electromagnetic waves will be affected by the weather sometimes 
4-Computer or notebook USB lack of power (try another computer)
